Ballet Combo (3-5)
Students ages 3 - 5 are introduced to the fundamentals of ballet technique with a combination of creative movement. Students will develope a sense of body awareness, rhythm, flexibility, and coordination through a multidisciplinary approach, which will stimulate imagination and self expression. Many colorful props are used.
Beginner Ballet (6-8)
Beginner Ballet classes introduce young children the fundamentals of classical ballet, focusing on proper body alignment, basic ballet technique, terminology, and musicality. Exposure to dance reinforces important life skills like creativity, discipline, and team participation - all in a safe, fun, and family-friendly environment.
Int Ballet (8-11)
Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms. Int classes begin at the barre where students perform movement sequences to develop strength, coordination, balance, and proper alignment. These skills are reinforced through center and across the floor combinations. Classical technique and vocabulary are taught in class. Our instructors follow the Russian/Vaganova ballet curriculum. In order for students to excel, we encourage a minimum of 2 classes per week.
Ballet/Pointe (11 & up)
Pointe is offered to the advanced ballet dancer. It is a form of ballet made possible by specialized shoes allowing dancers to perform on the tips of their toes. Dancers must be evaluated for adequate strength and technique before beginning pointe work.
Lyrical
Lyrical shares the basic foundations of ballet with slower music enabling dancers to focus on elements of isolation and control, while artistically and emotionally expressing each movement.
Contemporary
Contemporary is a fusion of ballet, jazz, and modern styles allowing dancers to explore a wide range of dance movements.
Jazz/Jazz funk
Jazz is an upbeat, stylish, and versatile dance form. This technical class includes warm up, across the floor, leaps, turns, jumps, and center combinations to fun and current music. Students will increase flexibility, strength, and jazz technique. This class will feature a variety of jazz styles from Broadway to contemporary and modern jazz.
Hip-Hop
Students learn techniques including popping, locking, and house elements. Mixing funk and street dance styles to create freestyle movement.
Latin BALLROOM
Dancers will focuses on integrated movements of classic jazz steps with a latin twist, using cha cha, salsa, samba, and high energy. To excel in Latin Dance, dancers must master ballet and jazz technique.
Musical Theatre
A theatrical form that combines elements of dance and acting, teaching dancers how to communicate with their audience through exaggerated movements and facial expressions.
Leap, Turn, Jump & Condition / Stretch & strength
This class is designed to help students with their flexibility, turns, leaps, stamina, and jumps. Dancers focus on stretching and strengthening skills to improve their technical training.
Acrobatic
Students will improve flexibility, strength, and learn a variety of gymnastics elements used in many dance styles. Beginner and Intermediate levels include cartwheels, body rolls, back bends, round offs, handstands, and front/back walkovers. The Advanced levels include arials, valdez, handsprings, back tucks, head snaps, and chin/elbow stands.
MOMMY & ME
Our interactive Mommy & Me classes allow parents to bond with their little ones as toddlers develop new skills. With the utilization of music and movement, we foster socialization, language, gross motor skills, and whole-body coordination. You'll dance, sing, and create memorable times with your little one(s).
